New Transfer!

Hey sounds like everyone is doing great at home. Jack Rabbits getting shoot at and baseball games. :) Sounds like the life!

Well for out here in the Michigan Detroit Mission we just had transfers last Tuesday. Now do have two new companions Elder Leonard and Elder Wallace. Elder Leonard is from Spokane, Washington, He's been out a year. Very hard worker and loves to teach and takes most of the lesson. Now with Elder Wallace, Elder Wallace has been out for 18 months, he's from Fruit Heights, Utah. Very to him self kid. Does not say much but is a very nice kid. I've been around him through out the mission. It should be a great last transfer.

We had the opportunity last Tuesday same day as transfers go over to Lancing and hear Jefferey R. Holland speak to us, which was amazing. Jefferey R. Holland focused on when Elder and Sister return home WE NEED TO STAY ACTIVE! He told us that if we don't have any baptisms the most important one you need  to convert is your self. He went on and talked about how there is to many missionaries coming home and then going less active. Then he talked about converting people to the gospel. Also Our Purpose as missionaries. He also talked about the set up with the church and how he gets interviewed almost everyday by news people. Asking him about all the questions about the church. Then when he tells them about missionary work and how we have missionaries all over from "Kanab,Ut, small town to South Africa" ( Jefferey R. Holland said that on May 20, 2014) It was funny because almost all the Michigan Detroit Mission knows me because of my voice and such a good missionary that is him self. So the missionaries that were close to me said Elder Jenson. Jefferey R. Holland went on about how they are 18-21 year old man and woman not getting paid spending 2 years out in a different state or wherever and they preach the Gospel. Jefferey R. Holland says it always gets them and so amazed by that. All 390 missionaries from Detroit Michigan Mission and the Lancing Michigan Mission were about to shake his hand. We just said hi then he said nothing and looked into our eyes and interviewed us.

Well tomorrow is the first District Meeting. The Focus is going to be on Retaining Members. That's what I feel like what the District needs because we've been having a good couple baptisms in our District the last couple months. Chapter 13 of PMG.

Well Love you Family and keep up the Great work!! :) It's crazy how fast time does go by and it been worth it to be out here on a mission. I've been able to learn a lot more about Jesus Christ, The Book Of Mormon and the Bible. Also of course my self and how I can be a better, brother, Son and etc.

Love Elder Jenson
